What is BPI Express Money Order?
 
BPI Express Money Order is a MasterCard Electronic prepaid local remittance card.
 
 
 
2.How much would each Express Money Order card cost?
 
BPI Express Money Order card costs P120. The optional accessory Express Money Order card for the remitter is given for free.
 
 
 
3.What are the uses/functions of my BPI Express Money Order card?
 
Your BPI Express Money Order card can be used:
 
To instantly send money to your relatives anywhere, nationwide.
 
As payment for purchases in establishments that honor MasterCard and/or MasterCard Electronic.
 
• For loading Globe/Touch Mobile prepaid mobile phones. Your mobile phone number has to be linked/enrolled with your BPI Express Cash card.
 
• In the ATMs for inquiring your balance, withdrawing cash, and for getting a mini statement.
 
 
 
4.How much is the remittance/transfer fee?
 
A P10 fixed remittance fee will be charged or deducted from the remitter's Express Money Order account for every transfer.
 
 
 
5.Can I buy more than one beneficiary card?
 
Yes, as long as you already have a funding account or source of funds, which could either be a BPI Express Teller account, a BPI Express Cash card or a BPI Express Money Order remitter card. Only transfers from BPI Express Cash and BPI Express Money Order cards are imposed a P 10.00 remittance fee.
 
 
 
6.Who will encode the PIN of my and/or my beneficiary's BPI Express Money Order card?
 
Either of you can, but it is advisable for you to encode the PIN of the BPI Express Money Order card before giving the card to your beneficiary.
 
 
 
7.How fast is the money transferred?
 
All transactions are done real-time, except for over-the-counter and ATM payments enclosed transactions.
 
 
 
8.Can I and/or my beneficiary get a statement of account?
 
No, but you and/or your beneficiary can get a mini statement that displays your last five (5) transactions. You and/or your beneficiary can get a mini statement through all BPI ATMs nationwide.
 
 
 
9.What are the other ways to get a mini statement, besides the ATM?
 
Through BPI Express Phone (dial 89-100 and listen to the voice-recorded message) and through BPI Express Online (via the Internet).
 
 
 
10.What are the available facilities/channels where I and/or my beneficiary can check the balance of the card?
 
You and/or your beneficiary can check the balance through BPI Express Phone 89-100, through BPI Express Online (enrollment in the BPI Express Online Internet Banking Facility required), and through BPI ATMs nationwide.
 
 
 
11.Is there a required maintaining balance for my BPI Express Money Order card?
 
None.
 
 
 
12.If there is money left in the card, will it earn interest?
 
No.
 
 
 
13.What is the minimum withdrawable amount?
 
P 500
 
 
 
14.What is the maximum withdrawable amount per day?
 
P 10,000
 
 
 
15.Where can I and/or my beneficiary withdraw cash?
 
In all BPI ATMs nationwide.
 
 
 
16.Can I and/or your beneficiary withdraw cash over the counter at the branches?
 
No. You and/or your beneficiary can only withdraw cash from BPI ATMs.
 
 
 
17.Will I see my updated balance in the ATM receipt after withdrawing from my BPI Express Money Order card?
 
No. Your balance will not be printed on the ATM receipt. You have to insert the card again in the ATM machine and choose balance inquiry service to see your updated balance after the last withdrawal. Or, you can also check your balance by calling BPI Express Phone (89-100).
 
 
 
18.How long before the BPI Express Money Order card expires?
 
Your BPI Express Money Order card will expire 4 years from the day you purchased your card. The validity period can be seen on the face of the card shown as "valid dates."
 
 
 
19.Can I and/or my beneficiary use the BPI Express Money Order card abroad?
 
No. The BPI Express Money card is valid only in the Philippines, as printed on the left-most portion of the card.
 
 
 
20.Can the ATM capture my and/or my beneficiary's BPI Express Money Order card?
 
No. The ATM cannot capture your and/or your beneficiary's BPI Express Money Order card even if you and/or your beneficiary mistakenly keys-in an invalid PIN three (3) times. The only time the card can be captured is when the ATM suddenly becomes offline during transactions.
