Increase your sales by honoring BPI Cards in your establishment as a mode of payment. 
 
Here’s how:
 
1.
To facilitate pre-processing, please prepare a photocopy of the following basic documentary requirements for Merchant affiliation prior to calling up the BPI Merchants Department:
 
For Single Proprietorship:
 
· 
DTI Registration and original Application
· 
If the Merchant Agreement is to be signed by a person other than the registered proprietor or owner (as per DTI registration), a Special Power of Attorney should be executed in favor of the authorized signatory.
NOTE: Please indicate the specimen signature of Attorney-in-fact.
 
For Partnership/Corporation:
 
· 
SEC Registration and Articles of Partnership/ Incorporation and By-laws
· 
DTI Registration and Original Application
· 
Duly notarized Partner's Certificate of Resolution / Board Resolution or Secretary's Certificate authorizing the signatory to sign the application form for and in behalf of the partnership/ corporation and to open a BPI Settlement Account where all card sales settlement will be credited. (A pro-forma can be secured from the Unibank Merchant's Department - 898-9426 to 27.)
NOTE: The Partner's Certificate of Resolution / Board Resolution or Secretary's Certificate should specify the company's intent for affiliation with BPI. A specimen signature of the authorized signatory should be indicated.
 
2.
A BPI Settlement Account is required for crediting the proceeds of card sales. However, if you already have an existing BPI Account, this can be nominated as the Settlement Account.
 
3.
Upon completion of the above requirements,
 
a.
Please call BPI Merchants Department at 898-9426 to 27 to request for a Merchant Assistant to visit your establishment to pick up the documents and deliver to you the BPI Merchant Agreement. Or you may e-mail us at merchant@bpi.com.ph and indicate the preferred time and date of visit, your office address and contact person.
b.
Processing time is 7 working days from submission of complete set of required documents.
c.
Once approved, a Merchant Assistant will visit your establishment to conduct cashier training and orientation on the features of the different BPI Cards, the use of a Point of Sale (POS) terminal, if applicable, and how to handle card transactions.
