Complimentary Gift Component
 
1.
For Foreign Currency denominated accounts, what exchange rate is used in converting the currency to peso?
Branches use the booking rate at the time of deposit.
 
2.
Can deposit made on different dates be pooled together to meet or avail the minimum fresh fund required or get the complimentary gift desired?
No, only deposits made on the same day can be pooled together.
 
3.
What happens to the complimentary gift availed by the client in case he pulls out or withdraws in part or in full the amount on hold?
The bank will deduct the value of the complimentary gift redeemed from the client's account prior to releasing the amount on hold.
 
4.
What happens if client changes his mind and wants another complimentary gift instead of the item previously ordered?
Complimentary gift can no longer be exchanged for another item once purchase is made by BPI.
 
5.
Can client avail of the complimentary gift component of the promo only once?
Client may claim a complimentary gift every time he / she deposits fresh funds to his / her deposit account and meets the other promo parameters.
 
6.
Can I rollover my time deposit account to avail of another complimentary gift?
No. Since only fresh funds or funds not sourced from any BPI, BPI Family Savings of BPI Direct account are qualified for the promo. Time deposit placed again for another period is no longer considered a fresh fund.
 
7.
Can different depositors join or pool their deposits made on a single day together to get the complimentary gift of their choice?
No. The branch would be able to establish if funds pooled together belong to one and the same person. Otherwise, if fresh funds deposited belong to different accountholders, clients are not qualified for the complimentary gift.
 
8.
If I want the complimentary gift with a higher value, can I just pay the price difference?
No. Only the actual complimentary gift corresponding to the fresh fund deposited may be redeemed.
 
9.
Are payroll credits, remittance and loan proceeds considered as fresh funds?
Yes. They are considered fresh funds and client may claim the complimentary gift provided client meets all the complimentary gift promo parameters like agreeing to put the amount on hold for 3 months for Savings or Checking account or 6 months if client would like to place the funds in Time Deposit.
 
10.
Can I still avail of the complimentary gift for the fresh fund I deposited 2 months ago?
No. Only fresh fund deposits put on hold on the same day the deposit was made is qualified. The claim certificate should have been filled out by the client on the same day the funds were put on hold.
 
11.
Instead of the 6 months holding period for Time Deposit (TD), can I place my TD on hold for 3 months then rollover for another 3 months to avail of the complimentary gift?
No. Minimum term for Time Deposit accounts to avail of the complimentary gift is 6 months or 182 days.
 
12.
I deposited Php 1M and claimed 3 complimentary gifts under the Php 300,000 deposit tier. I would like to pullout Php 400,000 from my Php 1M fresh fund deposit. Can I return 1 complimentary gift and retain the other 2 complimentary gifts?
You may retain all 3 complimentary gifts BUT failure to meet the hold out requirement due to full or partial pullout of deposit gives BPI the right to deduct the the value of the complimentary gifts from your account through your branch of account.
 
13.
I would like to avail the complimentary gift under the Php 5M deposit tier. I understand that pooling of funds under the different accounts under a common name is possible but pooling of fresh funds should be made on the same day. I have a Php 2M local check which I expect to be cleared after 3 banking days. When should I deposit my Php 3M cash to be pooled together with my Php 2M check deposit? On the same day I deposited the check or on the day the check is cleared?
Pooling of funds under a common name is possible provided it has to be made on the same day. For checks subject for clearing, the additional deposit should be made on the day the check is cleared.
 
14.
I availed a complimentary gift under the Php 500,000 deposit tier but the total amount I requested to be put on hold in my deposit account is Php 600,000. Can I pullout the Php 100,000 and just retain the Php 500,000 deposit so I can keep the complimentary gift I received?
No. Partial pullout corresponds to the deduction of the complimentary gift value from your account through your branch of account.
 
 
Raffle Component

Where can I inquire for the raffle numbers?
You may call 89100 or 1-800-188-89100 ( domestic toll free ) to inquire for the raffle numbers earned.
 
2.
Can I still join the raffle promo even if I already availed of the Complimentary gift?
Yes, availing the complimentary gift does not disqualify you from joining the raffle promotion. In fact, the higher the amount of fresh fund deposited, the grander the complimentary perk and the more raffle entries you will earn, thereby increasing your chances of winning.

How often does your system generate the raffle numbers?
Raffle numbers are generated monthly.
