The ALFM Peso Bond Fund ("ALFM Peso" or the "Fund") is a domestic corporation duly authorized to operate as an open-ended investment company. The Fund was incorporated on July 18, 1997 (originally as Ayala Life Filipino Income Fund, Inc.) with an authorized capitalization of PhP 200,000,000 consisting of 200,000,000 common shares of par value PhP 1.00 per share. On August 27, 1997, ALFM was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an open-end investment company under the Investment Company Act and the Revised Securities Act (now, the Securities Regulation Code). On April 3, 1998, the Fund's Board of Directors and Shareholders approved certain amendments in the Articles of Incorporation which changed the Fund's name to Ayala Life Fixed Income Fund, Inc. and which effected an increase in the Fund's authorized capital stock to PhP 1.0 Bn. consisting of 10,000,000 common shares of par value PhP 100.00 per share. As of November 2005, the Fund's authorized capital is PhP 34.0 Bn. consisting of 340,000,000 common shares of par value PhP 100.00 per share.

The primary investment objective of the Fund is to generate a steady stream of income through investments in a diversified portfolio composed of high-grade fixed-income investment instruments and securities. The asset allocation of the Fund shall be dependent on prevailing and anticipated market conditions. The Fund Manager of ALFM is BPI Asset Management.
